The installation Offering explores time and memory with two works, Offering, and 34 Years.


How do we mark time? How do we incorporate ritual into daily life? Over the course of 40 days Offering slowly accumulates; a room is filled with 40 bowls where each day, a new bowl containing salt and water is placed next to the one before. Over time, the older bowls become completely encrusted with salt; the younger bowls just beginning.


Slowly, salt water filters through the bowls and creates patterns on the floor, covering the entire room.
