Portal is a transition between inside and outside, one place and another. Responding to the site at Spa Del Lago in Seattle's Madison Park neighborhood, this piece draws attention to a nearby but overlooked storm drain. Portal explores the transition between the seen and the unseen by referencing and simplifying the everyday.
